How to care for your home walls

Walls are a very important part of your home. The wall gives your home and interior and homely exterior appearance. The home walls also portray a person's likes and personality according to their designs. We are always in the process of touching and leaning on these walls all the time. Therefore, it is important for you to pay attention to them. Always remember to repaint and renovate your walls this is a sign of care for your homes and it will also give them a welcoming the present day we have different types of wall available therefore we get to choose what we need, and in the process of this choosing, we also need to know that this wall has different ways of cleaning.

How to clean different walls with different paintings

Glossy and semi-gloss home walls cleaning

The paint is mostly used for restrooms and kitchen walls. Therefore, the walls require more attention than you can imagine.

The walls last long and are highly durable as long as you take care of them in the right way.

  1. Make a solution of vinegar and dish detergents and let it set for like 10minutes.
  2. Soak your clean sponge in the solution before you wring it and start your cleaning
  3. Clean your kitchen and restroom home walls in circular motions from top to bottom until they are all completely clean.
  4. Repeat the procedure until you are done with your cleaning replacing your cleaning solution every time it is dirty.
  5. Open all your home windows when done cleaning to fasten the drying of the walls.

Cleaning flat, eggshell and satin home wall finishes

The paint looks amazing in interior home walls they don't bounce backlight when the room gets light. The paint is less durable during the cleaning process. Therefore; we should avoid scrubbing and using harsh chemicals and degreasers when cleaning the walls.

  1. Mix drops of dish detergent to water 2-3 spoons of vinegar to warm water.
  2. Use a soft sponge to clean. Soak the sponge into the warm water and live it for a few minutes the wring it.
  3. Start cleaning your walls from top to bottom in circular motions.
  4. Repeat the process until your home wall is clean.
  5. Open all your home windows open and leave your wall to dry.

Cleaning oil-based painted home walls

  1. Make a solution of vinegar or detergent to begin your painted wall cleaning.
  2. Use a non-abrasive sponge to clean your wall. wring the sponge before you start your cleaning
  3. Clean your wall in circular motions from top to bottom.

Cleaning latex home walls

  1. Use an all-purpose cleaner and warm water. Avoid using any abrasive to avoid ruining your wall.
  2. Use a soft sponge together with the warm water to clean your wall.
  3. Clean the wall gently in circular motions from top to bottom till it is all clean.
  4. Rinse your wall with clean water and a clean sponge to finish.
  5. In case your wall has stains, you can use vinegar and water to clean, or you can also use baking soda paste for stubborn stains.

We all have a responsibility to take care of our home walls all the time taking care of our walls includes cleaning them regularly and repainting this will make the house long last and look as new as it was at first.
